I'm still new to coding (I code for a group of radiologists) and have a question. I was at a seminar last week heard that if a CT of the Head (70450) and Sinus (70486) was performed same time, use mod -52 on the CT of the sinus. Is this correct? The lady in my billing office said she ususally refiled with a mod 59 if she received a rejection.

Any help and clarification would be greatly appreciated.
