Wiki Radiology Question

What are the radiologists to do when a “combo” exam is submitted for interpretation. The tech submitted one film with 3 views of the hand and wrist with the central ray somewhere in the middle. Two separate codes are submitted (hand and then another for wrist) but only the one set of images. What is the radiologist allowed to do? It has been suggested he can look at the images and read a hand and then look at the same set of images and interpret for a wrist as the anatomy is there. Thoughts??
