Can anyone explain...What is "Oblique veiw"? how was it used for radiology? :)
Kindly help

Thanks in Advance,

There can be several different "oblique" views in X-ray. lao (left anterior oblique), rao (right anterior oblique), and many others. It's essentially the direction of the xray tube in correspondence to the patient. These are done to visualize anatomy that might not be seen as well on just a direct anterior or posterior view.
