Can anyone help me with billing radiology? We take X-rays in our Urgent Care Walk-in facility, but take them to the hospital to be read. We pay the hospital per reading. Can I bill the insurance companies for the professional and technical components and do I bill under the Radiologists NPI or my Dr.?
 
Agree, bill global as long as contract with hospital exists. Since you are billing a global bill under your physicians NPI.

IF you are billing technical componenent with TC modifier use your physicians NPI and hospital can bill with a 26 modifier for the interp.
