Here's the scenario:

Patient is admitted for appendicitis and has an appendectomy (90 day global). The patient is discharged and sent home. The patient returns to the ER 2 weeks later for abdominal pain and is admitted for suspected abdominal abscess.

Question:

Would all of the E/M services performed during the second admit be billed with a modifier 24?
