Hello. My OB/GYN doctors have a reciprocal agreement with another physician that will be doing deliveries when they are unavailable. This agreement allows us to bill for global maternity care although we did not perform the actual delivery. Could someone please tell me if there are any steps that I need to take when billing in this situation? Do I need to add any modifiers or supply any information that I normally wouldn't send with the claim? It would be considered "Substitute Physician Services".
