While employed by an Optometric/Opthalmology practice I found some "fraudulent" issues and brought it to the attention of the Practice Manager. As instructed by Management, I was told to discuss with the envolved provider. The provider promptly told me that everything would remain the same. I told the provider that management would be informed of his decision and wait for their decision. I was laid off. Now it begins....I know my responsibilities of reporting these indiscretions, but what will be the process? Anybody with past experience with a similiar situation? Thanks

Karen, I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. Have you reported the provider through the OIG hotline or to the carrier? This is where I would start.
