Provider removed over 2800g of tissue and skin from a patient and also did a free nipple graft at the same time. There is question in the office as to whether or not the nipple reconstruction could technically have the diagnosis code N65.0 (Deformity of reconstructed breast) as the patient had a significant amount of tissue and skin removed. Thoughts??
