When posting charges for a Recovery Care Center attached to a free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center - on a UB-04 - is the appropriate CPT/HCPCs code the surgical code performed at the ASC? The Revenue Code is 0710.
 
Usually recovery at the ASC is inclusive to the procedure and not separately reimbursed - I believe the charges would usually just be rolled into the total surgical charge. If you're posting the charges using revenue code 0710 on the UB with the surgery, you wouldn't include a surgical CPT or HCPCS code on that line as that would indicate a duplicate service to the surgery.
