Can anyone help me with Rectal adenocarcinoma status post resection:confused:
 
Go to the index for neoplasm and search rectum(malignant) and you will have your code. Also you should use a Vcode for post surgery. Hope thats what you wanted to know. If you look at Adenocarcinoma in the index it says see also neoplasm by site, malignant.

When a primary malignancy has been previously excised or eradicated from its site and there is no further treatment directed to that site and there is no evidence of any existing primary malignancy, a code from category V10, Personal history of malignant neoplasm, should be used to indicate the former site of the malignancy. If the treatment is directed at the malignancy, designate the malignancy as the principal diagnosis.
