We have a family (2 kids and the grandfather) who have a rectal rash that has tested postitive for strep. My provider has diagnosed them with Rectal Streptococcal Dermatitis. How do I code this??? Please help!!
 
i would code it as 686.9 and 041.00- 686.9[see dermatitis by infectious[staphyl,sterpto] and 041.00 [ additional code for orgn
