Hello, can anyone tell me if a recurrent DVT is coded as a chronic dvt? Thanks much!
 
I would like to know as well. The providers I work with continually use a dx for (acute)DVT (because they are
recurrent) for resolved DVTS that are over 1 year old. Patients are on long-term anticoagulant as well
