There should not be anything to bill here. If the specimen has already been billed, whatever work needs to be performed on it (excluding stains and whatnot) is included in the code for processing the specimen.

If you're talking about slide consultations, and a block had been provided along with the slides and additional levels are cut off the block and an additional H&E was performed then the charge goes from an 88321 to an 88323. If an additional H&E was not performed the charge stays at 88321.
