If a physician refers a patient for additional workup, what category does does this fall under within amount/complexity of data. Additional work-up isn't noted on the new chart.

Can you provide your reference for that? Based on the guidelines, simply referring a patient to another provider is not a review of data and should not be counted as such.

Referral law are not mentioned in the new guidelines. You can’t count in data section.
