Can you code ultrasound guidance with refilling a pain pump and maintenance? The ultrasound guidance is being used to find the access port 95991 (pain pump refill and maintenance) with 76942 (ultrasound guidance). The question was raised in 2007 but I wanted to know if anything has been changed. We currently code 95991 with 77002 (fluroscopy) but the provider is finding it more useful to do this with ultrasound. We have run it through the CMS and can't find a LCD on it and Optum Encounder Pro only has a profiled relationship with the 95591 & 76942. Also if any reprogramming is done, we would code 62370 but are there any conflicts with adding the 76942?
