Any ideas on what the ICD9 code would be for refractory shock?
 
there are many types of shock and refractory just means "resistant to treatment" so what is the shock from...obsterical shock, trauma shock, hemorrhagic shock, anaphylactic shock? There can be many different types and this will help you pinpoint a better dx.
