Regence 28299 Medical Necessity Denials

Hello fellow coders,

At my practice I've noticed that a lot of 28299s and bunion repairs we bill for are denying for medical necessity when billed with M20.1-, particularly from Regence. Any resources or advice related to medical necessity of bunion repairs is greatly appreciated.
