Wiki Reimbursement to Nurse Practitioners

I am in upsate NY. One of my NP's was at a dinner meeting about a year ago and Jim Collins was present. She remembers him saying that Medicare reimbursement went up to %100 of the Medicare Fee Scheduled. I am still finding 85%. Any ideas where this might have come from?

If your practice is located in a defined underserved area, then the reimburse can go up to 100% for NPPs

Interesting....I highly doubt that we are. Rochester, NY, Monroe County. But how do I find that out???

I kind of doubt that you are as well but your Medicare carrier should have informed you of that. Also you might try checking with the state maybe start with department of health and human services.
