Does anybody ever herd of a code that covers anesthesia complicated by head/tube not easily accessible or 180 degrees from the anesthetist. Like the head is 8ft away?

Hi abherefords@yahoo.com
Would you by chance be referring to "field avoidance and special positioning"?
I was just going to summarize from my Relative Value Guide, but I found a great informative article written by Kelly Dennis, MBA, CPC, CPC-I, CANPC, ACS-AN, CHCA on this very topic and will share the link for your review. It is called "Field Avoidance and Special Positioning" if by chance when you copy and paste the link in your browser it does not work.

https://www.aapc.com/blog/28701-an-...gery) or the surgical position of the patient.

Please reach out if this is not what you were referring to okay.
Thank you and have a wonderful evening,
