Looking for a Part time Remote Coding position:
I have been CPC since 2008 and have 12 years' experience. I currently work for the Department of Veterans Affairs. My experience is Inpatient, Trauma, and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
Accomplishments
12 years of Coding and Billing experience
Received CPC from American Academy of Professional Coders in 2008
18 years as a Certified Surgical Technician
I have extensive knowledge of medical record standards and highly diversified medical terminology, both of which are constantly expanding. I thoroughly search the medical record and identify all pertinent diagnoses and procedures. I review and code medical records involving routine and non-routine problems which require a high degree of technical knowledge and skill. I process inpatient and outpatient data base transactions which require knowledge of the system. Duties are allocated between coding, record analysis, data entry and validation.
