I was wondering if anyone would have any information regarding whether an apprentice coder can work remotely or do they need to be under the supervision of a CPC.

For example if a CPC was to work remotely, could they request to have an apprentice coder work under them.

I appreciate any answers or suggestions.

Thank you.

There's no Supervision requirement that I know of. The bigger issue is most remote places want experienced coders they don't have to babysit (I would want a "babysitter" to learn from and to bounce questions off). Keep an eye out for HCC/Risk adjustment coder jobs. Usually they are part time or seasonal but a good way to get a start in proving you can be self sufficient enough to work remotely.
