Remote Part-Time / PRN Cardiology Procedure Coder (Interventional Cardiology)

We are looking for an experienced remote, part-time/PRN Cardiology Procedure Coder to support pro-fee interventional cardiology coding.
Scope of work

Pro-fee coding for interventional cardiology and cath lab procedures (diagnostic caths and interventions)
  • Review operative/procedure documentation for accurate CPT/ICD-10-CM assignment
  • Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and appropriate modifier usage
  • Communicate documentation/coding questions back to our team as needed
Preferred experience
  • Strong background in cardiology procedure coding (interventional/cath lab)
  • EP experience (ablations/device implants) is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with common EMRs/practice systems preferred
