removal and re insertion of spacer

My surgeon had previously removed the total hip components and placed a cement spacer in the hip.

Now he has removed that spacer and re-inserted another one.

Would you code his 11983? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!
 
Did you ever find your answer? I have a similair question in regards to the knee. Patient had an ORIF knee dislocation (27556) but also had a fracture of the spacer and it was removed and replaced??? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!
