I'm not sure how to code the following?
DX: Displaced right breast implant status post trauma to the right breast
Procedure: Removal of right breast implant, closure of breast pocket and insertion of new breast implant and implant exchange of the left breast.
so they removed both breast implants even though patient was in a motor vehicle accident and at the time of the accident, the patient had a significant bleed that occurred on the right breast. but the implants were more than 10 years old the injured implant would be understandably replaced and the opposite one will be placed with a new implant so that there would not be an issue regarding fragility of the condition.
Should I use 19328-50 & 19340-50 for 19325-50 & 19328-50? Im just not sure???
