Due to painful hardware doctor removed intramedullary rod from proximal humerus.

Op note states: ...then a skin incision made on the lateral approach through skin & subcu fascia where the distal locking screw was placed. Palpation was performed and the humerus was identified. A second incision then made in the proximal shoulder through old scar through skin and subcu faxcia, and palpation and blunt dissection done to the deltoid. The rod could be immediately identified and the locking nut removed. The guidance rod then placed, and using a trocar, idntification of the distal locking screw area was then performed. Blunt dissection performed to the muscle, and using a screwdriver the distal screw was then removed. Using the same area, the incision carried down more distally, and the proximal locking blade plate then removed. The rod removed without complications...

Is this a 23331?? Is this a 20680?? Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for your quick responses! I also agree with 20680 but my doctor wants to bill 23331.
