removal of intraoral gingival cyst

Can anyone help with a CPT code for excision of intraoral gingival cyst? The surgeon selected CPT code 21048 but I don't think that is correct. I think that's more work than what he actually performed. He stated it merely as "a white cyst in the upper gingiva near the canine" and that he "used a 15 blade to incise through the mucosa around the cyst and immediately encountered white debris filling the cyst and was able to remove the cyst and curette the walls of it." He also stated there was not enough mucosa to close so he left it to close secondarily. I'm thinking 40810. Is that correct? Thank you!
