Patient had weck clips used for the pedicle at the time of nerve sparing prostatectomy 5 years ago. He had multiple clips at the bladder neck with stone formation on them. Cystoscopy was performed & stone encrusted Weck clips at the bladder neck was noted. There were 2-3 of these. Using a rigid grasper, we first had to break the stone material into small pieces & irrigate those out. Once we did that, we were able to see the clips & we removed them. This was all done with a rigid grasper. Would CPT 52315 be correct for this procedure or would you consider this simple 52310? Need help with diagnosis--would you use 998.9 & 594.1?
