I have a doctor that in his dication he says he removed two AK on the nose. Which I coded as CPT 17000 and 17003 DX 702.0 but hen he also states that he cryo two scc on the rigth side of the cheek. Would you use 17280. He did not state the size on these two. on the 17280 would you use that code twice and put a 59 modifer on it? I did ask him how big they were and he say about 5mm each.
 
I would do what you are suggesting. I'd use 17280-59 X 2 along with the 17000 and 17003. Of course, don't forget a 173.3, 198.2, or 232.1 for the SCC of the cheek.
