When a pt came in and the provider is just renewing meds thus the visit warrant a level 3 visit or 2? Thats all the provider is doing he just renew the meds everything was normal problem focused exam was done decision making is only renewing meds. Suddenly the e&m levels became a big issue in our office and the coders are being under the guns. Thanks for the help.
