I code trauma, but I need some uro advice please! I have an op report for a patient who suffered a perforation of his neobladder in an MVC. Do I code the repair as if it was a bladder (51865) or do I use an unlisted code (53899) since it's not really a bladder repair? I can't find any guidance for this situation.
