If Bleomycin was given for 1225-1300 for 35 minutes then that gets 96413...then Bleomycin agin was given 1445-1515 for 30 minutes...what code does the second bleomycin get? Thank you!
Per the CPT and Medicare Infusion guidelines, the total (aggregate) time is added together on a single DOS and billed accordingly. So in your case, the drug would need to reach the 91st minute threshold to bill the additional hour infusion code, 96415.
Infusions time does not need to run consecutively.
