good afternoon,

I remember from some where there was some guidelines for repeat cath.'s on the same day.
I have a case the pt. had LHC and stent. In cath. lab recovery pt. had severe chest pain and repeat cath. and another stent.
I remember they had to leave the cath. lab suite before I could be the repeat cath. and stent. Is that correct?

You have a change of status (chest pain), so I would code the second study with a modifier -59.
