Hello,
In order to report/close the loop for colonoscopy screenings, mammo, cervical screenings for pcp, it is proper for the pcp to code G0105 even though the specialist submits it for billing. Can we use G0105 just for reporting? Please on advise on reporting codes when the pcp reviews the reports and goes over the result with the patient.
Thank you in advance

If you submit G0105, you're telling insurance that your provider performed this service. If your provider did not perform this service, it is unethical to submit for payment for a service not performed.

You would report these using Category II codes - 3017F - Colorectal cancer screening results documented and reviewed, 3014F - Screening mammography results documented and reviewed, etc.
