I am aware of a "rep" who is taking physicians to baseball games as well as giving "gift cards" to nurses and staff either to entice or thank for the use of their product.

This sounds shady to me, and I would prefer not to do business with this "rep" ,however, I am not sure if this is truly considered a kick back or where to find out or what to do about it when i do find out

I know there are some things reps are allowed to do and some things they are not allowed to do.......how do I find out this information to ensure we are not involved in any of these activities?

Any advice?
 
ZERO tolerance

The only way to know for sure that you are "safe" is to have a ZERO TOLERANCE approach. Accept NOTHING of value (not so much as a pen) from drug or DEM reps.

I would also google the Stark laws to show your dr, this definitely sounds like a violation to me.
