This one was new to me, so if anyone can help with CPT, I would appreciate it a ton!
"Posterior aspect of hip was exposed by elevation of granulation tissue and transection of short external rotators. Hip capsule was identified and incised in a T fashion. Femoral neck was osteotomized with osteotomes. Femoral head was removed with a tenaculum clamp. Ball-tipped guidewire was inserted down the femoral canal. Femoral canal was successively reamed up to a size 9 reamer. The contents of femoral canal were sent for culture.
A string of antibiotic beads were made on a #5 Ethibond suture. 8 beads in total. These beads once hardware inserted into the femoral canal. "
