Hello...
Doc did hysteroscopy w/D&C, then removed endometrial polyp with the resectoscope. I'm inclined to think that this is not a normal polypectomy included in 58558. The only resection code would be for leiomyata, which this is not. Any suggestions?

It's included in the 58558; the definition of the code includes biopsy, dilation, curettage, polypectomy, etc. I know where you're going with the 'separate instumentation' thought but it's a polypectomy, regardless of instrument used. Hope this helps.
