I was wondering what everyone else is coding "clip endoscopic hemostasis" during a colonoscopy. We've been using C1889. The MUE is 2, but we use 3-4 on a regular basis, so our claims are getting held in the claim scrubber. We were initially billing without a HCPCS and billing as a 272 revenue code, but then the claims were getting denied. Here is a snip from an operative report. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
