Does anyone know if resolved conditions can be coded on a discharge summary? This is for the pro-fee coding of either 99238 or 99239, such as if a patient is admitted for pneumonia, and on the discharge summary it states "pneumonia-resolved", with no other diagnosis, would you still code pneumonia?
