I don't know if I should be posting this on the resume forum, but I could use some advice. The outpatient coding manager at the hospital I work at just informed me that they're going to have an opening very soon and that I should apply. Resumes are not my strong suit, and because I just recently received my CPC-A I haven't prepared one yet. Along with my certification I know I need to list that I have a diploma from a college

You should have a resume. There are many websites with instructions on how to create a resume, but overall include your demographics, with certification(s), contact information, education, job history, software proficiency and skills, and professional associations you belong to.

Hi! You will definitely want to have a resume built prior to applying for the position. I will attach my personal resume here as an example for you. I feel that my resume is pretty clean cut and to the point. Good luck with the position, coding is so exciting!
