Does anyone know what the time frame is for retaining scanned medical records?
I tried looking on the internet but I am not finding any helpful information.

Retention of what portion of a "scanned record"? The paper version or the electronic version?

This may be dictated by state law. To my knowledge there are only recommended national "best practices," but no mandates. Typically state level governments have some guiding principle for these matters.
