I recently began with an office whose NP's have not been on their commercial enrollments. Thankfully, they have been credentialed with CMS, but are not listed on any commercial contract. I am working on getting their CAQH set up correctly, but was wondering if anyone knows if the commercial plans will retroactively add the NP's?

Thank you!

Private payors will not generally retro-enroll any providers. Many do still allow the NP to be billed under the doctor's number, you would have to check on your local payors' policies. Good luck!
