Hi. It's been a while since I've reviewed revenue codes billed for outpatient services from a teaching facility. I am looking for information and guidance on Rev Code 510. Can someone point me in the right direction for information?
 
Revenue code 510 is used pretty much exclusively to report the facility charges for E&M visits at outpatient provider based clinics. Official guidelines for revenue code assignment are rather hard to come by, but if it's something you routinely need, I recommend that your facility have a subscription to the National Uniform Committee Billing Manual, as this is considered the standard for UB claim billing.
