Can anyone help me with this? Should I use 23331-23332 for the removal? What about the re-insertion of the liner? 23472/52? This is a Medicare surgery.

“The patient's old incision was then recreated with scar excision. This was carried down to the joint where the patient's shoulder was noted to be stably reduced and difficult to dislocate at this point. He was noted to have ruptured his subscap repair. At this time the patient then had the shoulder dislocated. Polyethylene was then removed and this was trialed until stability was obtained. Patient then had polyethylene +3 component exchanged for a +9 component. This was noted to greatly improve his stability. It was difficult to reduce, however, once reduced it moved freely with no impingment.”

Thanks,
