Procedure and Review results same day
I am sure this has been asked before, but I need some more references to speak to my admin regarding changing this office policy. We have a provider that does urodynamics testing for the bladder. She also does a Cystourethroscopy. None of the codes have a global period. She also likes to see the patient the same day to review the results. She wants me to bill out an e/m code to review the results with a 25 modifier along with the procedures. I feel that reviewing the results on the same day is not a separately identifiable e/m service. Can someone please give me their insight on this subject.
