For Medicare patients getting cervical RFA, is there a certain % relief that needs to be documented from the block? I.e., >50% x1, or >80% x1, or >50% in two separate blocks? To get reimbursed, what are the requirements?

Please advise. Thank you!
 
You would have to look a the LCD for your region to find out the percentage of relief from DUAL blocks prior to moving on to RFA. Most do require 80% or more relief from dual blocks.
