Looking for clarification on when a RHC is performed and cardiac output measurements are performed both by thermodilution and by Fick method. Having some back and forth at work about whether Fick is part of 93451.
Thanks! I thought so. Do you know where to find literature that says that? I need to share the knowledge with my coworkers. I feel like I have looked everywhere. The CPT manual left out 93451 when stating which codes include the Fick method.
