What would be the correct way to code this? I've never had to code out this many nodules so I'm really stumped on how to bill this.
Procedure: Excision of 11 rheumatoid nodules each 1-centimeter in diameter
Technique: Incisions were made over each of the nodules. They were executed and removed using a combination of a knife for sharp dissection, a scissors for radial dissection. Each of the nodules were collected. The wounds were them irrigated and closed using nylon suture.
I'm thinking I need to query the Doctor to find out depth and locations for each? Would I use soft tissue excision 26111-26116?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
