Our surgeon is treating a patient from an auto accident and wanted to use 21800 for the treatment of rib fractures. I'm aware this code has been deleted; but I'm having a difficult time trying to find a comparable code to use. This isn't open treatment. Would I still use 21899, unlisted procedure, to cover the fracture?
