Good Afternoon.
Can someone verify for me if the MA plans are required to provide a copy of actual CMS letter along with medical record requests for Risk Adjustment Audits? The audit contractors actually sending the request are only sending copy of letter from insurance company explaining CMS requirement but I thought I read somewhere that they must provide copy of CMS letter signed by director of Risk Adjustment Department.
My latest request.....354 charts!!! :(
