Are there any health plans currently doing risk adjustment for Medicaid? If so, can you provide guidance on finding rules and regulations and whether or not they compare to Medicare or Commercial?? We currently are only working with MA and ACA (commercial) but are in the process of taking on Medicaid and are having a difficult time finding information on how Medicaid may differ from MA and Commercial in regards to risk adjustment. Any info is much appreciated.

Hello, I am working in a state Medicaid ACO focused on Risk Adjustment. Our ACO is using the John Hopkins ACG risk adjustment model. Most likely the biggest difference will be in the model used as the population is different in Medicaid vs Commercial or Medicare. I hope that helps!
